Beyonce honored Olivier Stan at the Balmain Creative Director’s 10th Anniversary Show.
The 40-year-old superstar, who first met a 36-year-old designer in Paris in 2013, went on stage to celebrate Olivier’s dedication and influence to the fashion world.
The “single ladies” hit maker started by joking about how she and her fellow Texas people pronounce Balmain.
She said, “Ballmine, as in Houston.”
Beyonce continued. “Once you passed through that door, you didn’t close it behind you. For ten years, you opened the door wide so that others had the opportunity to realize their dreams. I made up my mind. The best part is that you don’t have to remind you to do the right thing.
“From the beginning, I knew that actions spoke much louder than words, so I took a position, made a commitment, and followed it at every stage.”
Destiny’s Child stars recalled various occasions dressed in Balmain, including the 2018 iconic R & B group Coachella performance.
She states: “I showed the world what I could do when two perfectionists got together. Remember that we are both Virgo.”
At the catwalk event, the soundtrack to Beyonce’s hit “Hello” appeared in the showcase. At the Paris Fashion Week event, supermodels Naomi Campbell, Milla Jovovich, Natalia Vodianova and Preciously headed to the runway.
