Katherine Heigl has promised to help behind-the-scenes workers in the entertainment industry.
The 42-year-old actress talked about working conditions for “Grey’s Anatomy” in 2009. She claimed to have worked on a set of 17 hours a day, and despite subsequent backlash, Catherine did not. I’m going to retreat in the fight for her justice.
In a long Instagram post, Catherine (Nancy (12), Adelaide (9), Joshua (4) and singer Joshua Kelly) explains: Baby. 21 years old. Turn 30 years old. 40 years old. The crew I have worked with for many years have been equally committed to making me more lasting and important than anything else in my life. They were a family in it. The way and I always and always support and support them. (Sic) “
Catherine then addressed the backlash she encountered more than a decade ago after deciding to speak up on this issue.
Her post continues as follows: “Some may remember that more than a decade ago, crews and actors were very vocal about the absurdity of working hours forced by production. Even Diane Sawyer interviewed me. But he didn’t tell me so kindly. “That was hard. ‘I’m very open and for years after my a ** was kicked for remarks.
“I locked me in that public spanking and shut me down. I took a huge step out of the hustle and bustle of my career and retreated into the Utah Forest. I suffer from self-confidence and self-esteem. I spent a lot of time in. I was convinced I was wrong. I was very wrong. The statement was ungrateful or precious to me, or “biting the hand that fed me.” I felt like I was there. (Sic) “
But now Catherine is determined to fight for justice and speak her heart on this issue.
