DaBaby dropped out of Lollapalooza over homosexual comments | Entertainment News – Pennsylvanianewstoday.com

DaBaby has been removed from the Lollapalooza lineup following homosexual dislike comments at Rolling Loud.

The “Sedge” hit maker has been badly criticized after making homosexual comments about sexually transmitted diseases at the festival last weekend.

As a result, he was released from the Lollapalooza lineup hours before he was scheduled to go on stage on Sunday (01.08.21).

In a statement posted on Twitter, the festival wrote: “Lollapalooza was founded on the basis of diversity, inclusiveness, respect and love.

“Young Thug will play on the Bud Light Seltzer stage at 9 pm and G Herbo will play on the T-Mobile stage at 4 pm.”

DaBaby, 29, was previously removed from the partnership with clothing company BooHooMAN because of his comments.

They say: “Boohoo MAN condemns the use of homosexual language and confirms that it will cease to work with DaBaby.

“Diversity and inclusiveness are part of the boohoo Group’s DNA and we take pride in representing the diverse customers we serve around the world.

“We support and support the LGBTQ + community. We do not tolerate malicious language or discrimination in any way.”

DaBaby (real name Jonathan Kirk) has been widely accused of ranting at the festival by artists such as Sir Elton John, Madonna and Dua Lipa.

He said at the time: “Today, if you don’t have HIV, AIDS, or any of them, you’ll die in a couple of weeks and lighten your phone …

“Blow, if you’re not smoking d *** in the parking lot, lighten your phone.”

The “Ball If I Want To” musician later joined his Instagram Live, claiming that straight gay fans enjoyed his show, and that people couldn’t criticize him without attending the show itself.

“I didn’t mean to rant. It’s called a subpoena. That’s what it’s called because I’m a live performer. I’m the best live performer.”

But on Tuesday (27.07.21), he admitted that his statement was “insensitive,” but claimed that he wasn’t trying to offend anyone.

He tweeted. “Anyone who has been affected by AIDS / HIV has the right to be upset. I didn’t mean to offend anyone, but what I said was insensitive. So I apologize.

“But the LGBT community … I’m not a trippin to everyone, you do. Every business is every business.”
