Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are kicking off their final performances together at Radio City Music Hall. The two take the stage tonight and Thursday at the famed New York City venue for Bennett’s 95th birthday celebration in front of a crowd of vaccinated ticketholders. It’s said to be the duo’s last shows together with Bennett’s family revealing his 2016 Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Meantime Governor Cuomo is declaring August 3rd Tony Bennett Day in New York, noting the singer’s roots in Astoria, Queens.

Reese Witherspoon’s media company Hello Sunshine is getting a new owner. The Wall Street Journal reports the private-equity giant Blackstone Group Inc bought it for about 900-million dollars. Witherspoon and CEO Sarah Harden are set to be on the board, and will still keep equity in the company. Witherspoon said she started the company to change the way women are seen in media. She said the partnership with Blackstone will allow for the company to tell more stories about women.

ABC and Warner Bros. officially confirmed on Monday that The Bachelorette season 17 mentors Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will return to host the next season of The Bachelorette.  Adams and Bristowe will replace 19-year host Chris Harrison, who left the reality dating show franchise for good in June amid a controversy about his comments regarding race.  The Bachelorette season 17 finale airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.  Season 18 is set to premiere October 19.

Disney+ has ordered a second season of its The Mighty Ducks revival, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Based on the 1990s hit franchise, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers follows Lauren Graham as Alex, the mother of 12-year-old Evan, played by Brady Noon, who’s cut from the titular youth hockey team and becomes a competitive powerhouse.  Together, Alex and Evan recruit a new group of misfits to take on the “cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports.”  Production will begin in early 2022.  A launch date has yet to be announced.

On Monday morning, Kathy Griffin, 60 revealed that she was about to have half of her left lung removed because of cancer. The comedian’s representative shared an update on her health with Good Morning America on Tuesday. “Surgery went well and as planned,” the statement read. “Kathy is now in recovery now and resting. Doctors say the procedure was normal without any surprises.”
