Rob Zombie has announced The Munsters as his next big screen project.
A big fan of Sitcom in the 1960s, a musician and horror filmmaker named “Dragla” after a friendly monster family car, confirmed that he was working on a new film based on the classic series. ..
He told Instagram, “The boil of attention and ghouls! The rumors are true! My next movie project will be what I’ve been chasing for 20 years!
“THE MUNSTERS! Stay tuned for exciting details as things go on! #Robzombie #themunsters #universalstudios”
The original show focused on a family of monsters who moved from Transylvania to the outskirts of the United States and needed to get used to the new environment.
Rob will work with Universal Studios’ 1440 Entertainment branch to produce live-action, animated films, and series on non-theatrical platforms.
This suggests that new movies will be released on streaming platforms rather than cinemas.
In 2017, talk show host Seth Meyers was revealed to be working with Jill Kargman, creator of “Odd Mom Out,” to create an NBC reboot series.
At the time, as Deadline reported, the series was set up to consist of 30 minutes of single-camera episodes.
And a few years ago, Network and Universal tried to restart the show with a large-budget pilot called “Mockingbird Lane,” with Jerry O’Connell, Porta de Rossi, Eddie Izzard and others on the cast. ..
The series wasn’t featured, but NBC boss Bob Greene Bratt at the time did not rule out revisiting its content later.
In 2013, he said, “I’m not saying I won’t make another version of The Munsters anymore.
“We tried to make it an hour, but in the end it weighs more than 30 minutes.”
