Tom Hardy dreamed of opening a “Sourdough Cafe” during the blockade.
“Venom: Let’s genocide” The actor (who has two children, 5 and 2 years old, and his wife Charlotte Riley, a 13-year-old son in a previous relationship) says he makes his own bread in isolation. At home in the midst of a coronavirus pandemic that enjoyed “commitment,” it led him to imagine another career for himself.
He states: “15 minutes of training in the yard, homeschooling, sourdough making. I still have leaven. I need to give leaven every day. That’s a commitment. I actually backed it up, so I have two.
“It’s been a year and a half!” In case someone drops it on the floor or the bottle explodes.
“I thought I might open a sourdough cafe. Coffee and sourdough, Jiu-Jitsu and AA meetings. You can take your dog.”
The 43-year-old star spent a lot of time looking back on last year and learned that he didn’t care too much about what people think of him.
He told the new issue of Esquire UK Magazine: I spent a lot of time fighting the concept of “adults”. All the bad guys I’ve played and those kinds of “grrrr” characters, I don’t think so. The whole performance, in contrast to me, was a kind of peacock-like thing.
“The most indelible things in my memory are shocking or scary, so it’s very easy to imitate them. Without that growth, it’s really soft, nice and intimate. Is much more difficult.
“Now I’m old. These things aren’t so scary, so I don’t really care what people think.”
And Tom wants to be around his family, so he feels “there are few reasons” to work now.
He states: “Ultimately, I think there is little reason to work because the driving force of life is to be with the children, to be healthy and healthy, and to eat well. There is a roof above and a bed underneath. How much is enough if you have food in the fridge? It’s life because it’s not a dress rehearsal? I’m going live. This is a one-time only. “
The “legend” actor has “established” himself and his career, so now the idea of ”disappearing” is okay.
He states: When I was young you had to listen, otherwise you wouldn’t see. Once you have established yourself, you can stop making so many noises.
“Because you are here now, what are you going to do? And what is enough? What do you need? What does my family need? It is very relevant.
“I think everyone needs a little bit of their own work. I like Jiu-Jitsu and sourdough. It satisfies me.”
