— Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are paying tribute to the late Charlie Watts. The legendary Rolling Stones drummer passed away at a London hospital Tuesday at the age of 80. On Twitter, Jagger posted a recent photo of Watts, looking healthy and laughing behind his drum kit. Richards posted a photo of a large drum kit with a “closed” sign hanging from it. Watts’ cause of death has not been disclosed. He was treated for throat cancer in 2004, and was recently hospitalized for an unknown medical condition. Charlie Watts has been with the Rolling Stones since 1963. The Rolling Stones apparently will carry on, at least for now. Long-time Rolling Stones sideman Steve Jordan will fill in for Watts on the band’s upcoming North American tour. It’s not clear if Jordan will become a permanent member.

— It looks like Sony officals have an idea of who they are going to make the permanent host of “Jeopardy!” TMZ reports officals at Sony are bending over backward to accommodate Mayim Bialik’s schedule. She was originally set to host the show’s specials but was tapped as the first guest host following the quick departure of Mike Richards. However, she’s busy filming her FOX sitcom, “Call Me Kat..” The source says the company is considering at filming episodes on weekends so that Bialik can host.

— *NSYNC’s Lass Bass is taking to the small screen. His guest-hosting duties on “Bachelor In Paradise” began on Tuesday’s episode. In it, contestants were told who the next guest host was by a boom box that played the band’s hit “Bye Bye Bye.” During the episode, he hosted a date where the couple had to answer questions or eat an unusual collection of food which included a cow tongue. He took over for comedian David Spade. This comes after longtime host Chris Harrison stepped down after backlash for his comments about race.

— It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s Tom Cruise landing his helicopter in a U.K. family’s garden. BBC News reports Cruise needed a place to land his chopper while filming the latest “Mission: Impossible” movie because the nearby airport was closed. Alison Webb said she agreed to let an unknown VIP land at her home because she thought her kids would think the helicopter was cool. Webb said she was surprised when Cruise got out and went straight over to talk to her family. She said the actor not only took photos with them but offered to have the pilot take her kids for a helicopter ride while he went to a meeting.

(Brooklyn, NY) — R&B singer R. Kelly’s sexual misconduct trial is continuing in Brooklyn Federal Court, where one of his accusers testified. On Tuesday, a 23-year-old woman said she met Kelly when she was 17, as she and her family hoped he could help advance her music career. She testified that Kelly soon made it clear he was only interested in sex, adding that he forced her to engage in sexual activity with a man he called “Nephew.” The woman also described bizarre rules Kelly allegedly forced her to comply with, including needing permission to use the bathroom, and cutting off all contact with friends.

— Reality TV star Josh Duggar is looking to get the child pornography charges against him thrown out. His lawyers have filed motions to do just that. He’s set to go on trial at the end of November and faces up to two decades in prison if convicted. Among the accusations his lawyers make include the government not properly preserving evidence like electronic device searches.

— “Sex and the City” alum Cynthia Nixon is throwing shade at former Governor Andrew Cuomo. In 2018, Nixon ran against Cuomo for New York Governor, but she ultimately lost. Nixon took to twitter to say “The difference between me and Andrew Cuomo? Neither of us is governor, but I still have my Emmy(s).” This comes after the International Academy of Television Art And Sciences announced it rescinding Cuomo’s International Emmy Award following his sexual harassment scandal and resignation. Cuomo won the award in November 2020 for his daily televised COVID briefings.

— The naked baby on the front of Nirvana’s iconic 1991 album “Nevermind” is all grown up and suing the band 30 years later. Spencer Elden claims neither he nor his guardians consented to the use of his photograph. He’s taking it one step farther by saying the image amounts to child pornography. Elden says the band promised to cover his private parts with a sticker but never did. He’s suing the remaining members of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain’s estate for at least 150-thousand dollars apiece.

— Former SNL stars Maya Rudolph and Andy Samberg will be co-hosting a new baking competition. The series “Baking It” will stream on Peacock over the holiday season, and will feature eight teams competing in a bake-off at Rudolph and Samberg’s winter cabin. The judges for the six-episode series will be four grandmothers who are baking experts, and who will be seeking the “Best in Dough.” No premiere date has been announced yet for the series, which is being produced by Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite production company.
