Modern Family actor Eric Stonestreet is engaged.

Eric announced at Instagram and Twitter that he proposed to Lindsay Schweitzer. He’s dated the pediatric nurse since their hookup four years ago.

She flashed her new diamond ring in their engagement announcement. The 49-year-old actor joked in Hollywood speak (quote) “She said, ‘She’d have her people call my people.’”

— “CSI: Vegas” star William Petersen is out of the hospital after feeling unwell on the set. TMZ reports Petersen was taken to the hospital on Friday while filming as a “precautionary measure.” The 68-year-old was reportedly exhausted from working long hours over the last three months.

— Angelina Jolie is now on Instagram. The Academy Award-winning actress used her first post to share a letter from a teenage girl from Afghanistan. Jolie captioned the post saying the people of Afghanistan are losing their ability to communicate, so she decided to share their stories as they fight for basic human rights. She said the “failure” overseas is “almost impossible to understand.” She said she will not turn away and look for ways to help. Despite just joining Instagram on Friday, she already has over seven and a half million followers.

— Chrissy Teigen says she never fully processed her miscarriage of her son Jack. In an Instagram post, she said it hit her when she started writing the caption saying “‘my third baby is here!!’ as in a cookbook,” then she realized her “third baby will never be here.” She said now that she doesn’t have alcohol to numb the pain, her feelings are just waiting to be acknowledged. Last September, she and her husband John Legend announced a miscarriage.

— Green Bay Packers quarterback’s chance to land his dream job as the host of the game show he loves is once again open. After Mike Richards announced Friday he was stepping down from the position, Rodgers said in an interview with Adam Schein for “Schein on Sports” that he would “definitely” take the spot had it been offered to him. Back in April Rodgers told The Ringer he wouldn’t have to give up football to play the gig and could fit the 46 days of filming each year around his football commitments. Sony Pictures Television is resuming its search for a permanent host and will bring back guest host in the meantime. The first new guest host is set to begin September 20th. Rodgers was amongst 16 celebrities who took time filling in the position, and made it very clear he was interested in the position permanently.
