— Emmy-winning actress Christina Applegate has multiple sclerosis. The 49-year-old actress revealed her condition on Twitter overnight. Applegate wrote that she was diagnosed a few months ago and that “It’s been a tough road.” She asked for privacy, as she moves forward. Applegate won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress In a Comedy Series for “Friends.” She shot to fame as a teenager for her role as Kelly Bundy on the Fox sitcom “Married…With Children” from 1987 to 1997.

— Katie Thurston’s journey as the Bachelorette is coming to an end. Spoiler alert — on Monday’s episode she got engaged to Blake Moynes. He showed up late to her season but ended up being the last man standing. Thurston told PEOPLE Magazine the struggles of her season were worth it. She said what they went through strengthened their relationship.

— Academy Award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones is taking on a new role. “The Wrap” confirms she’ll play the role of Morticia in Tim Burton’s “Wednesday Addams” series for Netflix. “Jane the Virgin” alum Jenna Ortega will also star in the eight episode series alongside Zeta-Jones as her mother and Luiz Guzman as the father. The show is described as “a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.” The Addams Family originated as a comic strip and has grown into a TV series, several movie adaptations, and even a Broadway musical in 2010.

— Actor and comedian Jim Belushi and his wife Jennifer Sloan are ending their 23-year marriage. USA Today reports 67-year-old Belushi filed for divorce on Friday in Los Angeles. Sloan is reportedly listed in the court filings as Jennifer Blair Belushi. The couple married in May of 1998 and have two children together. Reports say they filed for divorce in 2018 before deciding to reconcile. Belushi told The Hollywood Reporter last year that Sloan spends much of her time in L.A. running a children’s boutique, while he runs a marijuana farm in Oregon.

— Academy Award-winning director Quentin Tarantino is keeping a vow he made as a pre-teen, not to share his fortune with his mother. On a recent podcast, Tarantino explained he made the vow after his mother sided with teachers who scolded him for writing screenplays in school when he was 12. Tarantino said when he got home his mother said, “By the way, this little writing career that you’re doing…is over.” Tarantino has won Best Original Screenplay Oscars for Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained. On The Moment podcast, Tarantino said he helped his mother out “with a jam with the IRS. But no house. No Cadillac.”
