Moby has built a “wall” between public and private personas.
The 55-year-old star, who released his new album “Reprise” last month, explained that he had been calm for 12 years and was open about his past drug experience, but now he is living a “mediocre and boring” life.
He told The Daily Telegraph: “I had to build a wall between public figures and private individuals.
“My personal person isn’t interested in anyone anyway. It’s so exciting, mediocre and boring, but it’s just who I am.”
The “Move (You Make Me Feel So Good)” hit maker has recently admitted that they are more interested in watching cute animal videos online.
He added: “My very unfortunate one of my vices is scrolling through TikTok’s stupid videos.
“I don’t have a business to do it. I don’t do it that often, but boys, they designed social media very well with their addiction.”
And now, Moby has suggested that the old phone policy may need to be reinstated to prevent it from falling into a social media black hole.
“I used to put my cell phone in the bathroom drawer and watch it only five times a day. I need to go back to that area and stay away from cute animals.”
Meanwhile, Moby recently claimed that classical music had “penetrated” him from an early age.
As a kid, the singer was surrounded by the influence of many classical music, and although he named him in another genre, his music has always featured “classical elements”.
He said: “I grew up surrounded by classical music. My mother was a pianist. My great-grandmother actually taught the legendary conductor Arthur Fiedler to compose classical music. My uncle was a classical musician.
“So I grew up playing in a punk rock band, but classical music has taken root in me from an early age.”
