Netflix Announces New Partial Downloads Feature
— Netflix is announcing Android users will be able to partially download movies and series and start watching before the download is complete. The streaming service said it will be testing the feature on Apple’s i-O-S platform in the coming months. The company said if for some reason the download is interrupted, because of loss of signal or maxed-out data limits, it will resume downloading once the device reconnects to the Internet. For now the feature is available on Android phones and tablets.
SKIMS Official Lounge Wear Of Tokyo Olympics
— Kim Kardashian’s clothing line SKIMS is going provide undergarments, pajamas and lounge wear for Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics. The reality star made the announcement Monday, posting photos on social media of American athletes sporting the new line. Kardashian says she has always admired Olympic athletes as she use to travel to the Olympic trials with her family when her step-dad Caitlyn Jenner would compete. She added it was an honor to design a collection for the U.S. Olympic team. The same designs will be available to the public on the company’s website.
Knives Out Two Filming Underway
— Filming for “Knives Out 2” is underway. Production began in Greece on Monday. Daniel Craig is set to reprise his role as detective Benoit Blanc but other than that much of the movie’s plot is under wraps. The star-studded cast includes Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom Jr., Janelle Monáe and others.
