[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for the Lucifer Season 5 finale “A Chance at a Happy Ending.”]
“Oh my …” The end of that cry that concludes the fifth season Lucifer Our only complaint is that we have to wait to see what happens next.
Lucifer (Tom ellis) And Michael (Eris) finally confront each other, hoping to win and become the next god, with each camp moving the pieces in place. And before that was over, Detective Dan Espinosa (Kevin Alejandro) Is not the only loss, but there is a twist.
And the good news is Maze (Lesley en Brandt) And Eve (Inbar Lavi) When the former poses for “Steve” in the dating app, they will come back together. The devil decided, “I don’t mind if you die,” but it’s far from refusing her to be with another woman. She didn’t want to be immortalAnd Eve said, “This is the best word no one has ever said.”
The devil in the details
Michael visits the twins in Lux and praises them for having already won. He assembled the framing sword. And There are the majority of angels on his side. That’s why he has an offer to Lucifer. To return to the old throne of hell while Michael is in heaven. After all, Lucifer will even have Chloe (Lauren German) Beside him. The devil can’t imagine how she would fall into hell, but as Michael points out, it could be due to her guilt towards the father of her child who died while successfully handling her proceedings. There is sex. Did Michael adjust everything to make it happen? No, he just took advantage of the situation after the mercenary got Dan.
But, as Lucifer soon realized, Michael wasn’t entirely true. When Remiel (Vinesa Vidot), who was spying on Lucifer, arrived at his penthouse shortly before his death, he was assembling a framing sword because she was only stabbed by the blade of Azrael, a part of it. No. If Michael had a sword, he would have used it. This means he doesn’t yet have the key to complete it (the TJ with the fence at the end).
But Michael is right that Chloe’s guilt is very likely to lead her to hell. Lucifer leaves everything to her so she doesn’t feel guilty. This is easy to say and difficult to do. All she can do is focus her anger so that Michael won’t win.
So they turn to the forensic scientist Ella Lopez (Aimee Garcia) You can identify what’s on the wings of Ramiel’s wings, track her movements, and find clues to Michael or TJ. It’s still unclear what’s really happening, but Ella decides it’s yeast and leads them to an abandoned beer factory known to TJ’s frequent visits.
Lucifer tries to pretend to be Michael to get the key, but refuses to kill TJ to get the key, so the camouflage only lasts long. When the real Michael appears and does exactly that, Lucifer asks the two angels on the side of the twins if it’s the kind of god they want. One seems to be shaking. Chloe can’t hurt him with a bullet to distract Michael and Lucifer from escaping, but he shoots Michael. But Michael doesn’t have the last sword.
Which is better for the odds?
Lucifer does not want Chloe to participate in the battle, but Chloe refuses to refuse it. Still, especially Lucifer, Chloe, Amenadiel (DB Woodside) Waiting for Maze to appear with reinforcements (and stuck) Stuck.
They start by agreeing to accept Michael as a new god. He, of course, wants to hear from Lucifer because his brother doesn’t lie. “You are God …” Lucifer Begins, “Terrible. So what on earth are you wearing? Winter or something?”
At first, Lucifer doesn’t have additional voting rights on his side, but he wants to be God for love until Zadkiel (Joel Rush) talks about what the devil said to him. is. It beats him … but that’s it. Still, nothing happens. Does the vote need to be unanimous? Can the Lucifers continue to stall while Maze remains MIA? They do try, but sing “Can’t Touch This” and pretend to be God’s work.
Maze and Eve finally appear, and the devil appears on Lucifer’s side. But to prevent bloodshed between the brothers, Lucifer only suggests that he and Michael confront each other. Michael agrees, but it’s deadly — and he has an assembled sword of fire. Michael cut a piece with a sword before Amenadiel threw Lucifer Zadkiel’s wand. Ellis’s character was in the air until Lucifer revealed that taking the sword was not part of his plan. And the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in a (magnificent) battle. Instead, when they return to the ground, Chloe runs and unlocks.
However, when Lucifer hurriedly grabs the fallen blade, Azrael (Charlyne Yi) appears there. At first I thought I couldn’t lose with the Angel of Death on my side … Michael stabs Chloe with Zadkiel’s wand.
Journey to heaven
Lucifer blames himself when Chloe dies in his arms, but with some good news. She no longer feels guilty about Dan’s death. That is, she probably could have gone to heaven, Michael said as if it was a comfort to the distraught Lucifer. Obviously not. The devil refuses to keep Maze anymore, so the devil decides to take her back and fly to heaven, and a battle breaks out between the two.
As Chloe enjoys a picnic in heaven with his father, Lucifer crashes and is greeted by Lee, who he met in hell at the season premiere. Faced with guilt, he did what seemed impossible. In other words, I left hell and went up to heaven.
Lucifer has been banished from heaven, so the time to burn out is limited (thanks to Maze’s mother’s ring). He uses it to find Chloe and tell her she needs to come back. She doesn’t want to leave her father, but people still need the help of Detective Decker, he tells his daughter. The only problem is that one person has enough power to return, and Lucifer Chloe. “I choose you, Chloe, because I love you,” he told her (eventually) and began to burn.
Chloe was then able to return to Earth, wake up, hold the key with the ring on, and defeat Michael. “You robbed me of my loved one!” She shouted, Azrael’s blade. I put it on my throat. It’s a “Detective”! When Lucifer descends from heaven, it stops her. This stops all battles.
Recalling Michael’s words that it was a deadly battle, Lucifer assembles a sword of fire and uses it to cut off his brother’s wings. “Don’t kill anymore,” he declares. “While on Earth, everyone, including me, learned to deserve a second chance. Even you, Michael.”
Then everyone knee knees in front of Lucifer. “Oh my,” he says. Yes, Lucifer is a god. This looks fun.
